Review of DSActive Multi-skills athletics summer camp

During the summer holidays, the DSActive team ran a Multi-skills athletics summer camp for people with Down’s syndrome aged 5+. The sessions took place on Wednesdays and Thursdays at Tooting and Mitcham Utd FC from 10AM to 3PM. There was a fantastic turn out with 39 people with Down’s syndrome attending the camp!

Each session consisted of different activities and athletics stations for the participants with Down’s syndrome.

The DSActive Team said: “The summer holidays is a good opportunity to run Multi-skills Athletics summer camp for people with Down’s syndrome. Athletics is a brilliant sport for people with Down’s syndrome and  there so many different fundamentals movements such as jumping, running, throwing and etc.”

A big thank you to City Bridge Trust for funding the DSActive Summer Camp.
