The DSActive tennis sessions have been growing in popularity over the last couple of years, with more and more sessions starting up. The latest club to offer a DSActive tennis session is Wrexham Tennis Centre in North Wales with the support of Tennis Wales. The tennis centre has the luxury of 7 indoor courts, 7 outdoor courts and a nice bar area where parents and players can meet and socialise.

Launched just in time for the start of the summer holidays, one of the DSActive team went along to watch…

The first session was a great success, with 4 new players turning up to try out their skills on the tennis court. The session started with some fun games to get everyone warmed up, before moving onto a few drills and it finished with a game of dodgeball. There were some fantastic skills on show and it was great to see everyone having fun!

A DSActive team member said “It was a brilliant first session. It was great to see just how adaptable tennis can be regardless of age or ability and it was fantastic to see everyone having such a good time.”
