DSActive first started working with rugby union clubs in 2019 to offer Down’s syndrome specific rugby union sessions across England and Wales.

Rugby Union has grown in popularity over the last few years, mainly thanks to the excitement around the World Cup and the Six Nations. Disability rugby has also grown in popularity, with many different formats now available. In particular, touch rugby has been particularly well received, and is the format used for DSActive rugby session.
